We are dedicated to honoring the legacy of Smoky, the 4 lb Yorkshire Terrier who played a remarkable role during World War II. Smoky not only flew combat missions and performed as a war hero, but she also provided comfort, healing and support to injured servicemen and hospital care providers. Voted 'Mascot of the Southwest Pacific' by YANK Down Under magazine, Smoky continued her service and support visits to military hospitals even after returning home. Join us in celebrating the incredible journey of Smoky, an extraordinary dog who made a difference in the lives of many.
